Broken fence on M1 Motorway: PHC issues notice to federal govt, NHA chairman
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Friday issued a notice to the central government and National Highway Authority (NHA) director in a writ request of looking for court's structure to fence the M1 Motorway as creatures and individuals crossed the broken fence unhindered.
A two-part seat containing Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan and Justice Qalandar Ali Khan issued the notice to the central government through Secretary Communication, Chairman NHA and Inspector General Motorway and Highway Police, requesting that they present an answer in the appeal.
Asmatullah, an inhabitant of Peshawar, had documented the writ appeal to through his legal counselor Noor Alam Khan. The legal advisor contended that with the progression of time the fence on M1 had been removed by individuals.
He said at a few places the fence had broken and creatures were uninhibitedly entering the motorway, which could cause a setback. He said the respondents will undoubtedly ensure the street clients. It was pointed under the watchful eye of the court that individuals were additionally remaining on the sides of the motorway, which was illicit and against the principles.
The candidate supplicated under the watchful eye of the court to guide the respondents to appropriately fence both the sides of the motorway. He asked for the court to guide the respondents to make guidelines and fine the drivers for tossing junk out and about.
