72 power thieves arrested in Peshawar in one week
PESHAWAR: The region organization has said that 72 control cheats have been put in a correctional facility amid a crackdown on power taking in the common capital amid the present week.
Appointee Commissioner Imran Hamid Sheik said that the activity propelled by the Peshawar Electric Supply Company, in a joint effort with the area organization against power robbery and defaulters, would proceed.
Extra Assistant Commissioner Abdul Wali alongside Pesco authorities led the task in the zones of Charsadda Road, Khurasan Camp and close-by regions. AACs Humayun Khan and Qaiser Kundi directed the activity on Kohat Road, Mattani and adjacent zones, alongside Pesco staff.
AAC Naseer Khan and AAC Najeedullah Khan led a task in Tehkal, University Road, Hayatabad, Abdara and adjacent zones alongside circle SDO Pesco. Seventy-two people, who had taken immediate and illicit associations from fundamental electrical cables, have been captured throughout the week.
A few hundred thousand rupees were recouped from the defaulters while 24 transformers, against which contribution were pending since long, have additionally been evacuated, an official statement said. Imran Hamid Sheik has requested that the general population download Pakistan Citizen Portal application on cell phones and report control robbery through it. He said all grievances propelled through the said entrance would be speedily settled.
