Pak-Afghan bilateral trade crosses $2 bn
PESHAWAR: Pakistan and Afghanistan keep on keeping up an upward direction of exchange amid the most recent two years and exchange between the two nations have crossed $2 billion stamp in 2017-18.
As indicated by the Pakistani government office in Kabul, Afghanistan's fares to Pakistan expanded by 29.53 percent amid Pakistan's budgetary year 2017-18, ie from $342 million out of 2016-17 to $ 443 million of every 2017-18.
Pakistan remains the biggest fare showcase for Afghanistan. Then again, Afghanistan kept on expanding its imports from Pakistan as Afghan imports expanded from Pakistan by 18.33 percent for the period that was $ 1,271 million out of 2016-17 to $ 1.576 billion of every 2017-18. In 2017-18, Pakistan's best fare items were sugar, new foods grown from the ground, rice, wheat flour, bond, oil based commodities and meds.
